For his latest recording, Greg Hintermeister, a musician / performer / composer for over 30 years, decided to stop filtering what he wrote...lyrics, song styles, guitar solos, song structure, and focus on recording songs based on what inspired him. He decided to stop perfecting and just focus on capturing the energy and emotion he felt that sparked these songs to life. The result is a delicious mix of high-energy anthems, soft ballads, electronic chill, imaginative lyrics, and singable guitar solos.
Orchid Jane - Acoustic Trio
Orchid Jane is a south-east Minnesota based acoustic trio composed of husband and wife duo, Greg and Karyn Hintermeister, and wickedly talented bassist, Mark McGlinch. Playing together as Orchid Jane for the past several years, they've played acoustic versions of their favorite songs, spanning decades and genres, including a number of unique mash-ups audiences love.
